Things may appear to be quiet here at Seagull Towers, but we're beavering away behind the scenes. We're working on a project that hopefully soon you'll all be able to get involved in. However, if you're just too damn keen and you want to get involved in the beta version of The Book of Cairns then get in touch. Your collaboration will be more than welcome.

So, a little later than expected, there are a new set of Jeff Sheppard poems from his audio book 'Autism and the Migration of Birds' available for you to listen to and read on the website. They can be accessed through the Publications menu or through Jeff Sheppard's author page.

We've been a little quiet for a while, but that's not to say we haven't been doing things. There are a couple of projects in development that we hope to be able to give you details of soon. In the meantime, it has come to our attention that when the poems are downloaded from i-tunes or wherever else, there is no artwork for you to peruse.

Firstly thanks to everyone who came down to the launch on Saturday. We really enjoyed it. We hope you did too.

We're celebrating the launch of 'Autism and the Migration of Birds' this weekend with an event at the Permanent Gallery on Saturday 5th June.
Jeff will be reading poems from the collection and there will be limited edition CD copies for sale. There will also be performances from the other artists published by the Dead Seagull press: The Hammett Story Agency and Ben Murray.
Entry is free. It starts at 8pm. See you there.

If you're in the USA, you have a plethora of wacky digital music stores to choose from too numerous to even begin to list here. Maybe just give your favourite a try. If you're in the rest of the world, I think it's just Napster or Nokia Music.

We're celebrating the launch of the new DSP website with a new publication. Autism and the Migration of Birds is a collection of audio poems that will shortly be available through a number of online Music outlets, including Napster and i-tunes. However, we will be streaming the poems in batches of four over the coming months, and the first batch are here now.

I reckon the site should go live in the next day or two, so I won't just be blogging to myself anymore...
